| 22nd | Deadline for filing list of observers for primary election (11 days prior to primary) |

| 1st | Applications by mail for absentee ballots due by noon (three (3) days before primary) |
| 3rd | Nominating petitions for independent candidates other than joint candidates for president/vice-president must be filed by 4:00 p.m. (day before the primary) |
| 3rd | Absentee ballots may be voted in person at the board of elections until close of regular business hours (day before the primary) |
| 3rd | Amendments to list of observers due by 4:00 p.m. (day before primary) |

* In some instances, the statutory deadline falls in a day when the office of Secretary of State and boards of elections are closed. In those instances, the deadlines are extended to the next succeeding day when the offices are open.
